Adult Sex Education Lessons

There’s always something new you can learn about sexuality and sexual health. I guarantee that you will learn something new when you take a lesson with me! I teach everything that you didn’t learn in high school and everything that your adult self may be curious about now. I can make a lesson plan on just about anything and these are just a few of my most popular ones, if you don’t see a topic you want to learn about, just ask!

Sex Ed Basics- Anatomy & Response Cycles

This lesson is all about the body and how our genitals and reproductive systems develop and become aroused.

Topics can include:

  • AMAB & AFAB external genitalia and reproductive anatomy

  • Disorders of Sexual Development/Intersex Development

  • Journey of the sperm to the egg

  • Childbirth Education

  • Arousal and response cycles (How your body responds to stimulation)

  • Arousal non-concordance (how our bodies and mind can disconnect)

Sex Ed Basics - Cultivating Sexual Wellness

This lesson is aimed to help students learn about how to develop and maintain a healthy sexual wellness, growth, and identity.

Topics can include:

  • pleasure cultivation

  • consent

  • healthy communication

  • disclosure

  • prevention (contraception & birth control)

  • non-exploitation

Sex After Baby

Postpartum is a confusing time. Trying to navigate sex during this period can be frustrating, isolating, and even more confusing. Sex might be one of those topics overlooked in childbirth education and parenting classes.

Topics can include:

  • Anatomy & physiology

  • Understanding the many layers of sexual dysfunction & pelvic pain

  • Expanding sex & intimacy through the perinatal period

  • How to navigate self-love in a new body

  • What to ask your providers

Let’s Talk About Consent

Consent is everywhere in our lives. Its within our sexuality, personal boundaries, everyday interactions, and more. Most of us have learned that “No means No,” but consent goes further than that. This lesson offers the opportunity to explore all aspects of consent, how to talk about consent, and how to move beyond the simple “yes” and “no.” This is useful for going about your daily life, entering new relationships, managing employees, interacting with superiors, and so many other interactions.
You will learn about the foundations of consent:

  • Capacity

  • Informed Consent

  • Agreement/Boundary Setting

  • Discovery & Autonomy

  • What to do when consent is violated

Interested in BDSM, but don’t know where to start? This lesson is all about preparing you to dive into the community in a safe and educated manner.

When you think of the word “pleasure,” what comes to mind?  Pleasure in our society has become a dirty word, but for what reason? This workshop will encourage you to explore all aspects of pleasure through your daily life and the politics of feeling good. Through interactive discussion, course attendees will learn:

  • Identification of personal pleasures

  • What is pleasure activism?
